Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is a worldwide leader in the construction industry, and is the world’s leading producer of intelligent excavators.
Hitachi’s main product lines are hydraulic excavators for the construction, and mining industries, with the company manufacturing countless models, from medium sized wheeled excavators and reduced tail swing excavators, to mini excavators and ultra-large mining excavators like the 780-ton EX8000-6 excavator.
To complement the world-renowned mining class shovels, Hitachi also markets rigid frame hauls trucks that range from 70 tons to 326 tons.
In 2017, Wajax introduced the full line of Hitachi wheel loaders to Canada. These loaders range from compact to 9 cu yd. machines and are found working in various industries which include; landscaping, civil construction, agricultural, snow clearing, highways maintenance, aggregate producing, mining, and more.
The Hitachi construction machinery legacy was born with the first power shovel made entirely from Japanese technologies in 1949, and since then, the company has remained an industry leader.
